June 2018 – Tony responded to my call on air quality promptly and performed a VOC air quality test in my home. During testing, he identified a few areas that could be contributing to poor air quality in my home. He noticed that the attic sheathing was significantly covered with mold, the ridge vent was closed over, and the gutters discharged near the foundation. Tony quickly sampled the attic area to confirm the presence of mold. He noticed that the attic was not properly vented at the ridge, and through his illustrations and documentation, I was able to get my roofer back to my home to properly repair this problem. I heartily recommend Wilcox Inspections for home inspections, mold, and air quality sampling!

I contracted with Mr. Wilcox to have my home inspected and the response to the request was prompt & punctual. His home inspection was thorough and very informative. Nothing was overlooked and every aspect was taken seriously but not alarmingly. He even went up into difficult spaces like attics & up on the roof. He brought all his own equipment, borrowed nothing (example flash lights, etc.) and did his inspection in a safe manner. He offered extra testing as well and is certified for various related testing. I liked the fact that he provided transport of the water test as well. Quite honestly, I can't really come up with anything that was needed to be improved upon.
